This is the first part of a 2-part lesson on the Holy Spirit. This lesson will focus on how the Holy Spirit worked with Jesus, the apostles, and the early church. It will study the topic of miraculous spiritual gifts and the differences between the degrees to which Christ and the apostles had them and other Christians in the first century had them. We will also examine the biblical prophecy that foretells how and why no one in the church has miraculous spiritual gifts today. This will lead into the 2nd lesson, titled, “The Relationship Between Christians and the Holy Spirit”.
