On Monday, July 21st, East Main hosted the MYM (Monday Youth Meeting) event for surrounding congregations, drawing approximately 270 adults, college-aged individuals, children, and teens.
Our young men led the devotional. Ethan Hancock led prayer, Leyton Cherry and Paxton Holder led singing, and Rett Hayes read from God’s Word. Our Youth Minister, Elijah Mayes, taught from Scripture, after which the boys and girls separated for in-depth discussions on relationships.
After the devotional, over 250 attendees of all ages gathered in the Annex for a meal and fellowship. An activity area was available with a basketball goal, cornhole, and other games, which was enjoyed by many. The parking lot was full, indicating a strong turnout for fellowship. We are thankful to be part of God’s family.
