East Main is deeply committed to fulfilling the global aspect of the Great Commission, as recorded in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” This commitment compels us to extend our reach beyond our local community to support and participate in evangelistic efforts around the world.
We believe that the gospel is for all people, and we actively seek opportunities to partner with and support missionaries and organizations that are working to spread the message of Christ in various countries and cultures. Our involvement includes financial support, prayer, and encouragement for those on the front lines of this work.
It is our desire to be faithful to God’s call to take the good news to the ends of the earth, and we encourage every member of East Main to play a role in this vital mission. By working together, we can make a significant impact in bringing the light of the gospel to people across the globe.

East Main has been blessed to partner with Latin American Missions and the Yes II campaigns of Forrest Park church of Christ to share the gospel in places like Panama and Costa Rica. These mission trips have provided opportunities for our members to actively participate in spreading God’s word, working alongside fellow believers to reach people with the message of salvation. As we are reminded in Acts 1:8, we are called to be witnesses “to the end of the earth.” These efforts are a part of our commitment to fulfilling that call, and we rejoice in the fruit that has been borne through these cooperative endeavors.
