"make disciples of all nations"

evangelism

At East Main, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20, where He instructs Christians to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” This commission drives our efforts to share the gospel with the world and to nurture those who respond to its message.

East Main has always been an evangelistic congregation. In 2022, East Main hosted a House to House Heart to Heart School of Evangelism seminar (scroll down to see recordings). As a congregation, we have embraced these principles and have seen an increase in our bible studies and those obeying the Gospel. We rejoice in the fact that many new souls have been brought to God as a result of East Main members diligently following the great commission.

We believe that evangelism is not just a program but an ongoing commitment for every believer. Therefore, we seek to equip and encourage our members to share their faith in their daily lives, as well as through organized outreach. East Main has a Community Outreach group that hosts events in order to meet our community and learn how we may serve. In 2025, East Main is host to a health screening, Vacation Bible School, a Medicare seminar, and a blood drive. It is our desire to see God’s kingdom expand as we faithfully proclaim the good news.
