There is a need in Christianity for reproof, rebuke, and exhortation. However, there’s more to it than that. When do we rebuke or admonish? Should we do so if we see sin approaching, while the sin is taking place, or only afterwards? We will answer these questions, and also look at the goal of reproving, rebuking, and exhorting: to motivate the godly sorrow which produces repentance and the good which comes from that.
