East Main’s youth participate in Lads to Leaders, a program that cultivates leadership and ministry skills. Our young people develop in areas like Bible knowledge, public speaking, and organization. We are committed to equipping them to serve in the church and become strong leaders in their faith and community.
East Main’s youth participate in Monday Youth Meetings (MYM), where youth groups from various congregations meet monthly for devotionals and fellowship. These Monday night gatherings, hosted by participating churches on a rotating basis, provide our youth with opportunities to connect with other believers and grow spiritually.
East Main supports our youth in attending Bible camps for spiritual growth and fellowship. We especially encourage participation in Short Mountain Bible Camp and Indian Creek Youth Camp. These camps offer a special setting for young people to study God’s word, grow closer to Christ, and connect with other believers through worship, Bible study, and activities.
East Main’s youth are involved in the Challenge Youth Conference (CYC), a weekend event focused on spiritual growth and fellowship. CYC offers our youth a chance to participate in worship, Bible studies, and uplifting activities that strengthen their faith. This conference allows them to connect with other believers and be encouraged in their walk with Christ.
East Main’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual event dedicated to sharing the gospel with children in our community. Through Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and games, VBS offers a fun and engaging way for kids to learn about God. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for our church family to serve together and spread God’s love.
